As a wedding and lifestyle photographer that lives in Ohio and California, I am passionate about shooting in unique locations! While I currently live near Columbus Ohio, I was born in Anaheim California. My mom currently lives in Palm Springs, so I am in California several times a year. This allows me to shoot in some incredible places! I wanted to share some of my favorite spots in California, and why they are so special to me!

California has so many different environments to shoot. From the cliffs along the Pacific in Laguna Beach, to the vineyards in Malibu, to the gorgeous desert in Palm Springs, and the jaw-dropping sunsets that paint the sky, they are all breathtaking! It would certainly be an honor to photograph and serve couples in those places.

Temecula, California

One of the coolest experiences I have had in California is doing this styled shoot! This tropical-inspired shoot took place at Emerald Peak Venue, in Temecula. Located in the heart of Temecula, this intimate venue is surrounded by vineyards with stunning views. It is the perfect mix of rustic and bohemian!

Malibu Vineyards

This beautiful location in Malibu has been on my mind today. It is where I and my husband, along with our daughters, stayed on one of our last trips to California. It is also where I made a dear friend who just happens to be the owner of this stunning estate. She pampered us and we spent late evenings talking about our lives and business dreams. It was an unforgettable stay!

I was glad to hear from her after the Malibu fires and I am very grateful she is safe and well, but sadly, all the houses on her street burnt down with the exception of her house and her neighbor’s. However, her gorgeous vineyard did not make it and she has a few other damages to her large property as well. Please pray for my friend and others affected by California fires!

California is where I was born, where my mother lives today, where some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen reside, and so it holds a very special place in my heart! As I travel to California every few months, I will be taking more images of my favorite places, to share with you!
