I’ve been thinking a lot about this sweet couple lately! Erin and Jahran’s wedding was scheduled for April 19th, but it is now this summer. And while we had to move their wedding back a few months, the couple has been so sweet and understanding of everything! Their wedding will take place at Creekside Conference & Event Center, in Gahanna, Ohio. This beautiful ballroom has stunning chandeliers and lots of light from the huge windows. It is sophisticated and has over 9,000 square feet of space. So you can have anything from an intimate affair to a huge wedding! Erin and Jahran’s color palette of champagne, grey and ivory is going to look so beautiful here!
For their engagement session, we took a trip to Downtown Columbus! We headed to the Scioto Mile. Located in the heart of Columbus, this is a fun urban oasis, with lots of parks, and river views. But one of the coolest features downtown Columbus? The High Street Bridge. It’s an all-glass pedestrian bridge that has incredible light, making it the perfect spot for portraits.
Downtown Columbus Engagement Session Along The Scioto Mile
After portraits in the bridge, we walked along the Scioto Mile, where we had some beautiful views! Erin and Jahran had a quick outfit change. Erin changed into a beautiful white sweater dress, and Jahran changed from a velvet suit jacket to a khaki one for a more relaxed look. I loved both looks!
You can see how much love these two have for one another. They just loved cuddling with each other! They were so comfortable in front of the camera. At first, couples can get a little nervous at the beginning of their session, but easily warm up as we take more pictures. My job as a photographer is to make sure my couples are not just happy, but comfortable in front of the camera!
