Today, I am excited to share with you a stunning couple who will be saying I Do in a few months! Logan and Brendan live in Texas but met while attending college at Cleveland State University. It’s understandable why Cleveland will always hold a special place in their hearts. With that said, we gladly decided to do their engagement session in Cleveland while they were in Ohio visiting family this past year. And let’s just say their love for Cleveland has rubbed off on us! Corey and I absolutely love this city!

THEIR ENGAGEMENT STORY IN TEXAS

Every Christmas Logan’s parents go to Texas to visit. Each time they visit, they travel to a different region of the state with Logan and Brendan. So, for Christmas 2019, they decided to visit Texas Wine Country and Johnson City. During December, the city is covered in 1000’s of Christmas lights which make for a breathtaking scene. During one of their nights there in 2019, Logan, Brendan, and Logan’s parents decided to explore the town. Later in the evening, they decided to take a moment to look at all the lights and take in its magical view. This is when Brendan gave Logan a present. The present was a photo book he had made with memories and adventures the couple had shared over their 6.5 years together. When Logan finished the book, Brendan was down on one knee and popped the big question. How great of a proposal is that??

VISION FOR THE WEDDING

Because of their love for Cleveland, they have decided to get married at Windows On The River. This gorgeous venue has scenic views of the city skyline, Cuyahoga River and historic buildings and bridges. The building’s industrial architecture complete with high ceilings and exposed brick presents an urban ambiance that provides a beautiful foundation for a wedding ceremony and celebration.

Brendan claims his vision for the wedding is “whatever makes the bride happy”. How incredibly sweet is that?? So, what will make the bride happy? Logan’s vision is whimsical elegance. There will be a lot of flowers, candles and pink. And as you can see in these portraits, she looks AMAZING in that color. Their color palette is bubble gum pink (think double bubble packaging) and navy. Her vision includes featuring the city of Cleveland and their love for their historical venue will do just that!

We are incredibly excited to return in July to document their wedding! But I have to confess, Corey and I went back up after this engagement session for a weekend get away.
