Happy Friday friends! I am so excited to share Jada and Scott’s beautiful backyard wedding with you!

Jada and Scott are amazing people and dear friends of ours. Scott can make ANYONE laugh and Jada is one of those girls that when you first meet her, you know that you want to become dear friends with her!  Scott was actually a groomsman in our wedding 11 years ago and  Corey and him have remained very close, so Corey stood up for him as a groomsman for his wedding as well. Corey is typically my second shooter so with him being in the wedding, it gave me an opportunity to work with the wonderful Cyd Woods of Cyd Woods Photo.  She did an absolutely amazing job and we worked really well together and I believe I have decided to bring on a third shooter/assistant into the game!

The location of the ceremony was in the backyard of Jada and Scott’s home and OH MY, was it ever a perfect and romantic location for a wedding. Jada’s son walked her down the aisle and placed her hand in Scott’s to give her away and give his blessing. This gorgeous bride and groom stood underneath a tall maple tree that sat in front of their beautiful pond to exchange their vows as guests looked on as witnesses to the covenant they were making with each other and to the Lord. It was a touching ceremony indeed. Another detail that had added sentimental value was the bouquet that Jada carried. Placed in her bouquet of flowers was a sand dollar that hospice had given her after her grandmother had passed. It meant so much to Jada to carry this with her through out the day in remembrance of her beloved grandmother.

The celebration carried on into the evening with great food, music, and dancing! I absolutely loved capturing this wedding for this precious couple that we hold dear to our hearts. We hope that the peace and joy they experienced on their wedding day will last a lifetime.
